Private to your family

Each family account sits in its own digital vault, encrypted with its own key, never a row in a shared database. There is no one place holding every family's records, so there is no one thing to breach. Your record is never sold and never pooled with another family's.

Opened only by you

Nobody opens your vault without your say-so, and you see every time it happens. The reading is done by software, so finding what needs you and connecting one document to another never puts a person in front of your records. When a task needs a human, your assistant is sent only what that task needs and is never given the run of your vault.

How it is built

For the people who
want the detail.

Your vault is a place, not a row. Every family gets a dedicated cloud project of its own. That boundary is the isolation boundary: there is no shared database with a column for which family a document belongs to, and no broad permission that could reach across families, because there is no shared surface for one to span. Hardening sits on top of that rather than instead of it, with an encryption key held per family.

Taking it with you is a handover, not a migration. Because the vault is its own project, it can be transferred to you intact. Billing re-points to your account, ownership moves to you, and the storage does not move at all. Nothing is copied out and nothing is left behind. That is what lets us say the family owns its vault and can walk, and mean it literally.

An export is the record, not a folder of files. It reconstructs the whole thing: documents and their versions, the metadata, the people, assets, liabilities, transactions, loans, gifts, permissions and the audit trail, plus the relationships between all of them. Portable formats with a documented schema, so it opens cold, without Vaile and without us.

Export is bounded by permission. Someone you have given narrow access to can export only what they can see. The full-record export, the one that is the actual portability guarantee, is yours alone to run.

A copy lands in your own vault, on a schedule. On-demand exports and periodic ones both land inside the project you own, as a self-contained snapshot. Catastrophe cover that does not depend on us being reachable.
